Journals of the Travellers’ Aid Society

I wrote several entries in the Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society (JTAS) supplements for Mongoose Publishing’s Traveller RPG:

Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society Volume 7

Immigration in the Imperium: Rules for gaining citizenship. Registration is a valuable asset for those looking to establish a permanent home within the Imperium, with all the accompanying rights and privileges associated with a safe and prosperous world.

Dr. Izikai Nafir: Recklessly credulous for a scientist, he embraces curious and unproven theories with a conviction that is difficult to question. In conversation, he is overly flattering and self-aggrandizing to those he may be able to exploit, yet condescending and dismissive to his critics.

Here comes Mr. Steal Yo’ Data

Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society Volume 8

Giant Scuttlefish: A filter-feeder found deep in the atmosphere of gas giants, massing around 10-tons. Scuttlefish have been known to adhere to a starship in an attempt to penetrate fuel tanks with their rasping tongue.

Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society Volume 9

Rat Patrol: As a perk from their last job, the Travellers receive highly sought after one-week visitor passes to Aasamlaga in the Ot Zell subsector of Lishun. The planet is an ancient garden world deep in the Imperium, with an exceptionally restrictive Law Level. What should be a week of relaxation and adventure quickly turns into a conflict with exotic wildlife.

Aasamlaga, A Reserve Like No Other: Provides stats on the setting of Rat Patrol. This pristine garden world is prized for its natural and historical wonders. Its inhabitants have protected it for millennia and are dedicated to preserving this unspoiled world for future generations. Despite its wondrous beauty, Travellers are cautioned against visiting this majestic nature reserve as its strict environmental protections classify it as an Amber Zone.

Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society Volume 10

huh. Didn’t write anything for this one.

Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society Volume 11

Zéno Paradise: Rock god Zéno Paradise, the androgynous musician from the Lancian Cultural Region, is on their farewell tour. A miscommunication at the last stop means several tons of cargo containers are missing, and Zéno is refusing to perform tonight’s show without their equipment. The show’s promoter is frantic for solutions to ensure the show goes on. You’re on a stopover and need quick cash…

The adventure includes a printable handout of an official backstage pass, which does come into play in the adventure module.

Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society Volume 12

Airships of the Imperium: Despite the prevalence of grav plate technology, dirigibles remain useful for a number of specific tasks, as they are vastly less expensive to produce and operate. Provides vehicle stats on the Automated Refinery Drone, Bonham-class Luxury Airship, ZRM Airstrike Platform, and the Hostile Environment Research Outpost used to conduct research in gas giants and worlds with corrosive atmospheres.

These are all available for download on DriveThruRPG, I hope you enjoy! (These were work for hire, so I don’t get a cent from any sales.)
